The “Global Media Center” project is the main driving force behind the creation of the media campaign “Think… Be alert!”. The project was implemented in 2021-2022. in close cooperation with representatives of several civil society organizations, government agencies, and the media. The main partners of the project were the Center for the Study of the Religious Situation under the SCRA of the Kyrgyz Republic, SCRA, and REOC Communications.

National Action Plan (NAP) for Strategic Communications to Prevent Violent Extremism
The project “National Action Plan (NAP) for Strategic Communications to Prevent Violent Extremism” is dedicated to promoting the use of strategic communications of the state bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic to counteract the threat of violent extremism and terrorism in the Kyrgyz Republic. The project was implemented in 2022 jointly with the Center for Research on the Religious Situation of the Kyrgyz Republic under the SCRA and financed by the international non-governmental organization Hedayah.

The Terrorist Use of the Internet
The project “The Terrorist Use of the Internet” was launched in February 2021 with the participation and financial support of the international non-governmental organization Albany Associates. It engaged about 30 representatives of state bodies responsible for the implementation of the National Plan to counter extremism and terrorism in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2017-2022. Government officials were given the opportunity to learn about the latest cutting-edge online practices for more efficient monitoring, analysis, and countering the spread of violent extremist ideas on the Internet.

Media Literacy in Countering Violent Extremism
The project “Media Literacy in Countering Violent Extremism” was implemented in 2020 with the financial support of the British organization REOC Communications. Within the framework of the project the PA “Interfaith Council” and REOC Communications conducted a number of activities aimed at increasing media literacy among representatives of civil society organizations, government agencies and the Islamic clergy in order to more effectively prevent the spread of violent extremist ideologies in the media space of Kyrgyzstan.

A Reference Guide to Freedom of Religion or Belief in the Kyrgyz Republic
In 2016, the project “A Reference Guide to Freedom of Religion or Belief in the Kyrgyz Republic” funded by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) created a Guide to International Standards and National Legislation on Freedom of Religion or Belief in the Kyrgyz Republic. This guide has brought together all the most vital information about the nature ofLaw and the means and mechanisms for its protection available to all people living in the Kyrgyz Republic.
