The “Interfaith Council” isthe first institutionalized inter-religious platform in Kyrgyzstan that is aimed at building harmony and stability in the multi-religious society of the country. The “Interfaith Council seeks to work towards comprehensive peace solutions addressing the causes and consequences of conflicts or other problems that undermine the dignity of an individual or community. The “Interfaith Council” uses the following methods:
Our mission
The “Interfaith Council” is committed to the democratization of society and respect for human rights, including freedom of religion orbelief. The organization adheres to the position of appreciating the values of the diversity of Kyrgyzstan and sees its mission in popularizing the ideas of peaceful coexistence, security and peacebuilding.
The “Interfaith Council” does not tolerate discrimination based on race, color, gender identity or gender expression, religion, age, national or ethnic origin, disability, marital status, or discrimination on any other grounds. We believe that we become stronger through the diversity of ideas and that together we can achieve the goals of sustainable development.

• Facilitating the exchange of knowledge between religious communities, based on common principles and values that contribute to building a peaceful and just society in Kyrgyzstan and in the world.
• Establishing a forum for formulating and discussing issues in areas of common interest.
